If you feel like you shouldn’t be charged for a particular appointment, don’t worry! You can easily contest that appointment as long as it is prior to billing date. Just follow these steps:
- Click ‘Opencare Prime’ at the top right corner of the page, next to ‘My Account’ and ‘Log Out’
- Click on the ‘Appointments’ tab at the left
- Select the practice, month and provider
- In the ‘Billing Actions’ column (far right) you should see a button that says ‘Request not to be Charged’, click this and let Opencare know why you’re requesting not to be charged. You can also check our Billing Policy before contesting the appointment.
By the way, you can also contest not to be charged while you are verifying/reconciling a patient appointment.
Please note, contested appointments are subject to an approval process. Opencare reserves the right to deny any appointment that does not qualify as an exception under our Billing Policy.
